Walt Disney World’s Art of Animation Resort

Art of Animation Hotel

The moment you arrive at the Art of Animation Resort in Walt Disney World Resort, you feel like you have arrived on the scene of some masterful Disney Pixar movie. Finding Nemo, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Cars all have their own special worlds in this resort with almost 2,000 family friendly rooms and suites with impeccable attention to detail of the Disney storytelling and family comfort.

The Art of Animation Resort boasts the largest resort pool in all of Walt Disney World, inspired by the Disney/Pixar movie Finding Nemo. There are two other pool areas on the property: the Cozy Cone pool based on the movie Cars, and the Flippin’ Fins pool which features an “Under the Sea” orchestra conducted by The Little Mermaid’s very own Sebastian.

We loved the Art of Animation resort because we stayed in Disney storytelling all of the way down to our shower curtain and bedside lamps. Every detail was perfected to make you and your family feel like you’re living in Cars Land.

We stayed in a Cars themed suite, but the Art of Animation Resort also offers Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid rooms which all have impeccable detail and fun extras. We loved the hip, mid-century modern influences all throughout the resort, and the Pantone backdrop of the lobby was absolutely stunning.

It was great that the rooms have kitchenettes and mini fridges and tables so makes it easy to buy food at grocery store to save on meals. The resort also offers buffet style dining and affordable options for healthy snacks and hot meals.

One thing that is great about staying at the Art of Animation resort is that it is super easy to get around Disney bus transportation from the hotel to the various areas of the WDW resort, and there is even Magical Express transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport.

We found a great deal from Walt Disney World–a package that helps you save on travel this Spring. With up to 30% savings on Disney resorts, coupled with discounted park tickets, you can visit Mickey and his friends for around $67/per person select dates through June.

Which themed room would your family love to stay in? Let us know in the comments!
