What’s New at The Magic Kingdom: New Fantasyland at Walt Disney World

Places to go

1 Feb

Have plans to visit the New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort? Hip Travel Mama was there for the opening with Expedia and came back with what’s new at The Magic Kingdom and tips to help you maximize your next visit to Orlando. Here is a preview of what you can expect to see at your next Magic Kingdom visit with your kids.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Stop into Maurice’s cottage to be transported to Beast’s castle with Belle and Lumière for an exciting adventure through the “tale as old as time”. Your little prince and princesses might even be a part of the story!

Step inside Beast’s enchanted castle for a quick lunch or sit down dinner with your royal family. There are three separate themed rooms to choose from, whether you’re looking to dine in the mysterious West Wing, Belle’s Library lined with bookshelves, or the grand 2-story ballroom. You may even catch the Beast.

Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid

Little princesses will be captivated by New Fantasyland’s Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid as you descend deep beneath the sea to visit with Ariel and her underwater friends.

Storybook Circus

The Storybook Circus is your ticket to a classic American circus. Among the big-tops and majestic animals are classic rides like Dumbo, re-imagined with two sets of rotating elephants soaring through the air, and new attractions like The Barnstormer, a spiraling stunt plane ride high above the Storybook Circus.

Grab a Frosty Brew with Gaston at Gaston’s Tavern

The only person that will love Gaston’s Tavern more than you is Gaston himself! Stop in for delicious tavern fare, a frosty brew and endless tales from its hardly modest host, Gaston.

There is much more to come at The New Fantasyland at Walt Disney World. Coming in later this year and in 2014, Disney’s Fairytale Fair and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Disclosure: This trip was part of a paid brand partnership with Expedia and were hosted guests of the Walt Disney Resort. All opinions expressed here are my own.
