Hotels we love

27 Feb

Suncadia in Cle Elum, Washington is the perfect Winter escape just an hour and a half from Seattle. We recently visited the Suncadia Resort and fell in love with the winter activities, beautiful accommodations, and an unmatched landscape.

Winter Activities For The Whole Family

Winter activities are abound at Suncadia. We enjoyed a scenic horse drawn sleigh ride through the Suncadia property and had a great time ice skating in the sunshine. They also offer s’more nights every Saturday from 8-9pm, game nights, broom ball after hours, snowshoe rentals, Sunday morning yoga sessions, and more!

Campcadia is a great resource for families, which gives children ages 4-12 a chance to experience Suncadia “kids style”. Offering activities, crafts, and field trips organized around a fun theme. There is all-day, half-day, and evening choices with meals and snacks included for whenever the kids need some fun and the adults need alone time.

While the kids are away, adults can visit Swiftwater Cellars, Washington State’s newest winery with a tasting bar, restaurant, pro shop, and a special events space. Their wines, sourced from select vineyards in Washington, include some of their own fruit from the Zephyr Ridge vineyard they’ve been tending since 1994. The also offer two wine club opportunities, the Black Diamond and Rope Rider, that offer unique combinations of the best wines and benefits to being a part of the Swiftwater Cellars inner circle.

Inspired Accommodations With Great Amenities

The Inn at Suncadia accommodations are perfect for the whole family, with 18 exclusive guest rooms and suites with a bed and breakfast feel. The rooms feature gas fireplaces, deep soaking tubs, and outdoor balconies with rocking chairs. Laundry services are located on the first floor of the hotel. The gorgeous decor with artisan crafted metal and wood finishes are inspired by local mining and logging history.

Relax At The Glade Spring Spa

One of the best perks of Suncadia? The Glade Spring Spa, which offers services like the Sweet Milk and Indigenous Lavender Facial, a 100% natural facial that uses healing indigenous lavender to brighten your skin. Take your little ones for a Pretty Pretty Manicure and Pedicure specialized for guests ages 4-11 years old featuring a cleansing soak and scrub, massage, and polish. They also offer manicures and pedicures, duo treatments, and massages that make this the perfect place to unwind.

Suncadia When The Snow Melts
