Spring Trend #4. Part 2 of dressing with color… by kimbrooksstyle featuring h&m blouse

Of all of the Spring Trends, the color trend has to be the most fun, most versatile, and definitely the easiest.  Just a look in your closet will probably locate a goldmine of options.  Pull out all your pieces that contain color and start mixing items that you’ve normally worn together.

For those who prefer a more neutral palate of Seattle skyline colors, think black, white, and every shade of gray, don’t fear.  Incorporating color can be as simple as a lipstick, a scarf or a colorful piece of jewelry.  Adding a punch of color is a good mood adjuster, you may find you starting adding more and more as the months go on.

There really are only 2 points to keep in mind to not add yourself to the fashion don’t list.  There are always going to be exceptions to the rule but consider these good, general guidelines.

Head to toe pastel screams Easter festival or something for the Elementary School set.  Even a pastel twin set can be too much.  Break it up.

Besides the pastel overload, any color used full forced says Uniform.  Think scrubs, airline attendants, restaurant staff, and the list goes on.

How are you wearing color this Spring?  A little accessory or in your primary wardrobe? Do share!
