4 Can’t Miss NW Roadtrips on Q13

Road trips are a great way to explore the Northwest, and makes a great kick off to Summer season. This Memorial Day weekend, we’ve got 4 NW road trips with some really great hotels that will help you reconnect with your family and enjoy the open road!

1. Shuck an Oyster at Alderbrook Resort and Spa

The Alderbrook Resort and Spa is a family friendly luxury resort in Hood Canal, about a 2 hour drive from Seattle. Memorial Day Weekend is their opening weekend of patio, with live music and a family movie night every Friday. On Sundays, you can catch a magic show and live comedian sure to add some fun to your family trip. Lodge of 1 bedroom cottages rates start at $208/night at the Alderbrook Resort.

2. Let’s Go Fly A Kite In Long Beach

The Adrift Hotel in Long Beach, WA is a beachfront, hip, eco-friendly spot that is also dog friendly! One great way to enjoy Long Beach when you’re not flying a kite is renting beach bicycles for the whole family. The Adrift Hotel offers a bunk suite which is great for kids for $105/night.

3. Climb A Tree in Fall City

Have you heard of Treehouse Point in Fall City, WA? This treehouse B&B features unique lodging with names like trillium, nest, and upper pond. Children must be 13 or older to enjoy a night in a treehouse, so this is a great couple or family with older kids getaway. Nightly stays at Treehouse Point start at $195/night and include continential breakfast.

4. Slip Slide Away in Chelan

The newly renovated Campbell’s Resort in Chelan, WA is a beachfront hotel close to Downtown Chelan for easy access to all of the fun Chelan offers! Campbell’s Resort is offering a Memorial Day Slidewaters package that includes a 3-night stay, 4 Slidewater tickets, and $20 dining vouchers per day for Campbell’s Resort starting at $739.
