Fall into style at the new modern W Bellevue | Luxury hotel Bellevue

Hotels we love

5 Sep

The anticipation of this summer’s opening of the new W Bellevue Hotel was palatable. If you haven’t had a chance to stay at the new luxury hotel, the W Bellevue yet, now is the time. The kids are back in school and it’s time to grab some girlfriends, your fall boots, and plan a shop and stay night out in downtown Bellevue.

I’ve long been a fan of the sleek, modern design of W Hotels around the world and to have a new modern luxury hotel popping up in my own backyard made me giddy with excitement. We had an opportunity to stay at the W Seattle this summer just a week after it opened, for a quick overnight birthday celebration for our new teengager. At that time, the hotel was still finishing up final touches, but all of the design details in the rooms, open spaces were impeccable. Check out the hotel’s current offers to book your own staycay!

The new W Bellevue Hotel‘s design theme centers around a “modern lakehouse” design, with soaring arches, comfy swing chairs, and vintage photos of families enjoying time on nearby Lake Washington, every corner of the hotel holds design surprises.

Our first visit to the W Bellevue was for a special girls night birthday celebration for my daughter with her friend and mom. W Bellevue is a place we will continue to return to imbibe for a girls night out, or easy urban staycation with the husband.

Here’s a quick gallery recapping our stay and our subsequent return dinner with friends at the W Lakehouse, the hotel’s signature restaurant led by James Beard award-winning Head Chef, Jason Wilson.

My biggest takeaway? When you step inside this luxury hotel in downtown Bellevue, you feel like you’ve stepped into a hip, mid-town Manhattan hotel. Such a fun twist on a eastside stay!

Disclosure: We were hosted guests of the W Bellevue hotel and received complimentary accommodations for review purposes. As always, opinions here are our own.
