Wine and dine at Son’z Steakhouse on Maui

Archive

15 Jun

Looking for a hidden gem restaurant on Maui? Son’z Steakhouse sits quietly in the heart of the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in West Maui. With an extensive wine list, Son’z has a menu of grilled meats and seafood sure to knock your socks off. While on vacation in Maui, I typically hang up my wine glass for some rum or a Mai Tai cocktail, but Son’z wine list is so good we had to dig in to sip and savor.  Our server was very knowledgeable and paired and excellent Barolo with our grilled filets.

Son’z Steakhouse also hosts a Winemaker Dinner Series every other month, hosted by Son’z Steakhouse Executive Chef Geno Sarmiento. Guests get to interact and meet winemakers and chefs, while enjoying a five course meal paired with complimentary wines.

If you have a hankering for a good steak while on Maui, Son’z Steakhouse is a sure bet for a delicious filet.

Disclosure: Sonz Steakhouse hosted us for a meal for review purposes. The wine list was so good, we opted to purchase another bottle of the Barolo to take up to our room! As always, opinions are our own.
