Salish Lodge & Spa limited time offer | Seattle Mother’s Day gift idea

salish lodge rooms

Spring has finally arrived in Seattle and my husband and I celebrated with a recent Seattle romantic weekend getaway at Salish Lodge & Spa. This romantic getaway was part “homework” and other part much needed (and overdue) time to reconnect and relax without the kids. This year you will see me talk a lot about putting wellness in the #welltraveledfamily. This starts with carving out time for the foundation of the family: your marriage. If you missed our first exclusive Seattle wine tasting package, I’m excited to announce our next romance package at the Seattle area luxury hotel, Salish Lodge & Spa. Think of it as my early Mother’s Day travel gift idea to you. Just a 3o minute drive from Seattle, this package includes everything you will need to rekindle your romance for a much needed night in. Here’s what is included and how to book now:

  • One-night stay
  • Dr.’s Orders Gift Set
  • $75 dining credit in The Attic
  • Two 25-minute Jet-Set Mini Massages at The Spa
  • Morning Yoga by The Falls class in the Hidden Terrace for two

This getaway kicks off with a pre-visit consultation with Salish Romance Concierge, Dr. Pepper Schwartz. It has been a while since our last “Babymoon” at Salish and the rooms have been completely renovated. Following our arrival, we settled into our guest room and where this little package was waiting for us.salish romance package

Next it was on to The Spa for an hour of steaming ourselves in the sauna and soaking in the hot tub before our signature treatments.

Our room was steps away from our casual dinner at The Attic. If you haven’t been to Salish in a while, you will love the new completely remodeled casual dining space at The Attic. We nestled into a cozy table with a view of Snoqualmie Falls while sipping a Salish Honey Flavored Moscow Mule, listening to live acoustic guitar and sharing steamed clams and flatbread pizza from The Attic’s wood-fired oven.the attic salish lodge

The great thing about Salish is you really don’t need to go anywhere. We retired to our room to build our own wood-burning fire and relax with a bottle of wine.salish lodge guest room

The next morning we awoke to breakfast in bed to the sounds of the falls. Due to schedule commitments, we unfortunately couldn’t stay for an hour of Yoga by The Falls led by Director of Mind, Body and Spirit John Jessum (Jess). Jess happens to be one of my long-time (and favorite) yoga teachers and he leads an amazing practice for beginners or advanced yogis that will get you moving and relax your mind and body.IMG_6182

Men, you can score big with this early Mother’s Day gift for your hardworking wife. Check out this video of our stay.

Salish Lodge is a popular getaway for Seattle area couples and has just 84 rooms and is reserving just a handful of rooms each night exclusively for this package for Hip Travel Mama readers between Thurs. April 25 – Sunday, April 27, 2014. This is an exclusive, first-come-first-served promotion and will go fast. Rates start at $389 and are all-inclusive of the above. Booking tip: Salish Lodge typically sells out rooms on Friday and Saturday nights, so Thursday and Sunday nights will be your best rates and will go fast. Book direct here on Salish Lodge’s website to get this offer.

Note: The retail savings on this package is over $200. If you were to price these out each of these add-ons such as spa, dinner, yoga, and the gift package, you would end up spending considerably more for this curated luxury spa experience.

The fine print: *Advance reservations are required. Rates are based on double occupancy and subject to availability. Blackout dates apply. All package amenities are per room, per stay, unless otherwise noted. Rates do not include taxes, gratuities, or resort fee. Resort fee of $17/night includes valet parking; use of fitness center; access to The Spa soaking pools, eucalyptus steam room and dry sauna; wireless high-speed Internet access; daily newspaper; morning coffee and tea from 7-11am and afternoon tea and cookies from 4-6pm in The Library, which is adjacent to the lobby.
